Your home is your temple.

Have you ever stopped to think about how much your home influences the energy of your daily life? That's where it all begins and where it all ends. It is there that you rest and bathe, that you undress and look in the mirror with time to talk to yourself without interruptions, that you drink your tea, read a book, sing in the shower and cook for someone you like. Our house is the setting where most of the movie of our lives takes place, and the importance of this setting goes far beyond aesthetics. It's emotion, history, and affection. So, pull up a chair, sit down, and look around, asking yourself if this house has helped you in this daily task of keeping your spirits high and the ball rolling.

If you answered yes, congratulations, advance five spaces in the game of life! But if your answer is no, get closer because I have something to tell you.

From the frontdoor in every house is a set of rooms, usually rectangular, with doors and windows. It doesn’t matter if it’s big or small, if it’s new or old, what you put in there is what matters and, most importantly, how you place your furniture and decor is what will give it a character, establish a flow and create the feel.

Think of your home – that quintessential female symbol – as a temple. A refuge where, daily, you meet with yourself or your loved ones to rest or to celebrate whatever it is: a new day, friendship, love! Face your house like this and arrange its corners to serve not only the body but the soul.

And you won't need much. Most of the time, just willingness is enough. You can change everything without buying anything. And it doesn't hurt to remember that a house that looks like a furniture shop may eventually please the eyes, but it hardly warms the heart. To be your temple, it has to look like you and what you already have is always welcome. And I'm not saying it's not cool to buy new things for your home, but I'm sure beauty and coziness don't depend on it. Besides, you can't pretend that our world isn't suffering from overconsumption, and it's past time to face it head-on and guide all our actions in that direction, right?

A house that is nice to look and good to be in needs grace, needs magnetism, and it necessarily needs to resonate with our identity in this world.
